I duplicated the base stem and flipped it 180 and used the mirror modifier on the swivel bolt.

Fancy stuff! What would give friction to a connection like that so it did not just flop over or be tightened solid? I feel currently though it is already overlapping mesh in space, can’t move. or rotate as there is a squareness to the shape it will rotate around. However, you have better views and clearly a plan! So I await developments.
