Hi everyone 
So I decided to go for more of a plastic look to my lamp base + wooden stem (used a wood texture from previous section ). The only thing that is metalic so far is the rim around the stem.
At times the shape of my lamp reminds me more of a sink plunger, but I hope it turns all right at the end
