I’m always bad with lighting. Any tips how I could do it better next time?

Increase the SIZE of the lamp(s). It will generate a more softer shadow.
You did use a three point lighting set up, but not in the most common way.
They vary in intensity (factor 5, 3, 1) and location and size.
Lights setup will be explained in this course.
