I am trying to have a model look better with an HDRI environment and want it to cast a shadow on the ground. I can get a shadow if I add a plane, but then I have a visible plane in my scene. What can I do to get a cast shadow without showing the plane or is even using a plane the wrong idea?

Also, you need to match, align the Blender camera height, diafragma, focus, etc. to match the scene.
GameDev have a new course where this is explained using video footage and the Orc model.
