Sometimes I really hate me for stopping the video, when something is off.
I accidently closed the wrong window in shading and I was desperately trying to get it back to normal. After failing on that one, I was trying to google it and finally found a solution.
When I resume the video and Grant explained the exact problem I had on top with a solution exactly two seconds into the video -
I started to laugh and cry at the same time.
I love how all of you are always one step ahead in your courses, but unfortunately I’m too impatient.
Nevertheless, props to you!

It will be less problematic, after more study hours.
We all have, had these strange Blender encounters.
Unable to return to something, because you don’t know why it went that way.
It has all to do with your focus on a subject, not seeing the change in a previous step.
So you’re not alone in this.
- It helps to save regularly in a new version, Blender has a nice increase file number function.
- Be aware of unrecognized hotkeys. Or some hotkeys do different things, depending on where your mouse is located (on which panel).
- In some occasion, Blender is so confused by all unlogics user input, that starting with a new
.blend
file, and APPEND the already created object into the file, will help a lot.
I shall make sure to complete the whole video first from here on out hahaha
