This is the format used in Visual Studio. The braces being on a new line is what I’m used to in VB and C#. I finally did change my VS editor to mimic the Unity style.

My thought is, we have big screens now (if you don’t … it’s your tool, get something good), AND it’s really easy to miss a brace if you cram it on the end of a line.
But, lint programs will reformat everything according to your boss’s preference, so just go with the flow 
Another great one is … tabs or spaces? lol.
