I don’t know if you mention it in the lecture, but I discovered that if your parts of the lamp do not line up exactly with either the x or Y axis you are going to have problems. My lamp kept distorting when I moved them by the parts moving out of alignment with each other. I created a new file and imported the parts one at a time insuring each one was in perfect alignment with the x axis. I then created a new skeleton and reset everything back up. Now everything seems to work.
