Is TileVania still relevant?

I’m halfway through Glitch Garden, and trying to decide where to go next. I peeked at TileVania, and saw that it was written for Unity 2017. I don’t care that much if certain tool things moved around, but is the game design still relevant? Meaning, if I was building a platformer like that in Unity 2019 today, would I still be using the same Unity features and techniques?

Just asking because I’m trying to decide whether to do that section, or perhaps do some other “independent research”, such as how to build for Mobile platforms.

Yes, Tilevania is still relevant. The Tilemap is not integrated in the Package Manager in newer versions of Unity. In Unity 2017, it was still a package that you had to download from GitHub.
