Is there a way in Blender 3.3 to change the scale of a face/edge numerically?

It looks like it used to be possible but I can’t figure out how to open the menu.

What I want is to select a face and then say for XYZ change scale to .5, .5, .5

Perhaps you mean after pressing S and clicking you can use the pop up panel lower left?

Yes! but that pop up wont appear. I’ve tried pressing F9 but that didnt work

Wouldn’t br minimised / turned down would it?
Or just totally missing?

Does it come up when you say add a new mesh to scene?

Be more precise

  • Do you want to scale the object?
  • Do you want to scale a face inside an object (the mesh)?

That panel from first adding a mesh can not be recalled after initially adding of a mesh UNLESS you have done nothing else at all, then f9 will bring it back.

Pressing S and clicking, with or without dragging the mouse, as I did brings up that scaling panel.

So if I create a new object and press F9 it appears otherwise it constantly disappears every action I take and have to keep pressing F9 to make it reappear

If I go into edit mode and press S to scale on a face or Edge it wont appear whatsoever

This was the answer, I was trying to do it during the initial scaling of the face I didnt realize you have to finish the action and then press F9 rather than just having it show up when you initially start scaling
