IS the socket issue fixed in v13?

Ben describes a complex workaround for a sockets bug. Has the bug been fixed in subsequent builds of UE?

At the time I took the course around a month ago it worked as intended, so unless they broke it again yes. I couldn’t find any formal documentation for the bug however, so that’s just my experience.

Yes, the bug has been fixed in 4.13! I was able to rename before moving and didn’t encounter the bug that Ben did.
