Is that possible to use unity tilemaps for grid system? And, what problem, potentially we’ll have if w’ll try?

The grid system that @CodeMonkey teaches in this course is just that: a grid system. It is not tied to any specific thing. You can use it for anything that requires a grid layout. I’ve never used tilemaps, so I cannot give you explicit details, but I cannot imagine that it will not be possible. At least not to store data (like the units we used) or pathfinding (like we did). I just recently used the grid system to make tetris.
