Introduction to Bezier curves (Curve looks different from the lecture video)

Hi,

My curve looks different from the lecture video.I got the handles and the control vertices but the centipede leg like thingy is absent on the curve . Im using Blender 2.80.

You mean, those with black arrows on the line?

Viewport Overlays -.> Turn on the normals at the bottom.

Those arrows showing you the direction of the normals on the vertices that make up the curve.
By default in later versions of blender these are turned off. Which is crazy to me. I guess more professional users prefer a cleaner look.
