Input Component is not found by default

Usually The Input Component is true But in my case it is not there

please solve my issue soon…

What output are you getting? All actors have an inputcomponent so it’s strange you aren’t getting anything.

I am getting the Error message that I typed in my else statement that "no INput Component is Found
"

You’re missing the %s for the log to tell you what actor is missing the input component.

Yes But That is not responsible for my problem
Even if I comment out all the LOG statements the error persists
and by missing %s I can’t get the name of the actor or if its wrong it should generate an error. In my case The Log statement in the else code is getting printed… BTW even the instructor didn’t put the %s in the Lecture.

And that’s a mistake.

If you want I could take a look at your project for both issues. File > Package Project > Zip up project in Unreal and then upload that somwhere.

Ok I’m instaliing the UE version 4.24 again after installing I’ll zip it but where to upload ?

Google Drive or OneDrive or Dropbox or anywhere else.

@DanM here’s the Google Drive Link for my project : https://drive.google.com/file/d/18vb3Lh0Yns0ihDKyNHqGWJS-Q5JxP9fj/view?usp=sharing
please view and try to solve my second query also related to ActorThatOpens is set to none by Default.
and solve any other issues if you find any ASAP… Thank You in advance.

What you sent me didn’t compile. Had to delete the Intermediate folder and rebuild.

Other than that the default game mode was incorrect. After changing that to MyGameModeBase_BP everything worked fine and as expected.
