Independent and dependent variable

At around 0:50, is it not the other way around?
The independent variable should be on horizontal axis while dependent variable on vertical axis.

Yep, you’re absolutely right - Looks like I flubbed my words and got the words dependent and independent the wrong way around. I’ll get this patched asap to fix the terminology.

The reasons I give are correct though - The thing you can’t change (I should have said independent) goes along the x-axis, and the y-axis is for values that are dependent on the other.

So in our case, time will continue to march on independently of what our current fuel is doing but our current fuel is dependent on the current time.

Thanks for spotting this and apologies for the error. Please do keep all feedback coming

This video has now been patched. Thanks again for pointing out the error.
