• I started out with a quad build model using subdiv during edit mode/ box modelling.
• duplicated it and kept that for retopology…
  I share this to help any bypasser, fellow human that you are, to reduce time spent.

Blender has many options and different ways to achieve something. If it works, it works.
Multires had some problems in the past, maybe they are solved!
