If your color isn’t rendering - you might be doing what I did. I added the image texture modifier and then added the image, then connected the nodes to the appropriate places. This caused an error (color wasn’t showing up).
To fix, add the image texture modifier instantly connect the nodes to appropriate places (Diffuse, Glossy etc) , then add the image.
