BMW Render with GPU CUDA:

Tiles 32x32 - 7:48
128x128 - 1:24
256x256 - 1:06
512x512 - 1:02
1080p full frame - 1:06

512x512 seems to be the sweet spot for this spec

With CPU:

16x16 - 4:22
32x32 - 4:24
64x64 - 4:28
128x128 - 4:32

The higher the tile setting, the slower the CPU gets.

Strangely, it took 2.7 seconds just to render an ordinary new document cube with the same GPU and 64x64 tiles, compared to Michael’s 1 second with a Geforce GT 750M and the same tile setting…

i5 7600k (4.2Ghz)
GTX 1070

GPU 512x512 = 01:03
CPU 16x16 = 03:52

It’s official, GPU 512x512 is a winner.
