I was doing this in 5.3 and it seemed to work without WakeAllRigidBodies. Does that mean I don’t need to use that or it’s something else like player quality settings that are keeping the RB awake?

I believe this was a change in the UPhysicsHandleComponent in an engine version (5.1 I think?). So you shouldn’t need to manually wake.
