This is an exciting moment. I have not finished this class but I posted my game anyway…
I had a little issue with buttons overlapping each other when I would build. It only did it when it was not in full screen mode. But I figured it out. The buttons all needed the same anchor location so they would stay locked at that certain distance and that also made them stay in a certain position from each other. I missed that in the anchor class. In my particular situation, I used the middle of the side for all buttons. The left buttons used the left side and the right buttons used the right side of the canvas. Then as far as text, I just pushed the shift key so I could see what was happening and used that bottom right button so they stayed locked in the middle of the buttons. I did that on all of them. At first, I had some buttons anchored to the top corner. Some to the bottom corner… and so on. So when I built it, it looked craze until it was in full screen.
Then I had that aha moment…!
I didn’t make a lot of changes except adding a few more buttons and scenes… I was basically concentrating on understanding what the freak was happening. I am so proud of it even though it’s just a tiny little thing…
Another thing that was exciting was changing the code and having it work. Or adding to the code. Yeah. That was awesome…
Even a little game fills your head with all sorts of ideas…
