hello i have an issue with bevel in the corse it looks like this:
if i do the exact same thing step by step i get this:
it does not remotely look the same and idk it looks really bad and weird if i try to continue with this
any tips? or could some one help how to get same thing cause my barrle looks now really weird.
These barrel notch issues crop up quite often, Probably find other examples if you searched this Ask section, they are pretty much always down to double geometry.
Edit mode select all with A, then press M, by distance. That will probably fix the problem. If not more examination of the verts may be needed.
Did you apply the scale.
I your z-ax scale is bigger then the X-Y-ax, then you can expect features like this.
