I can't use VS 2022 with unreal 4.22

Hi, as you read from the title I can’t use VS 2022 with unreal 4.22. so when I select the dropdown visual studio 2022 should appear and that’s what should happen according to microsoft. so please explain me why? And what should I do to solve this problem.

If I am not wrong, Visual Studio 2022 is only supported in UE 4.27 (not sure about 4.26) and UE5 early access. UE 4.22 supports VS 2017 and 2019 versions.

So you have 2 options, update UE4 to latest version or Install Visual Studio 2019.

I am using VS 2022 with Unreal 4.27.2. I am at lecture 101. So far so good.

yes downloading unreal 4.27, also good to know that people actually care about talking and solving my error
