I’m wondering if the corruption is just a bug or if a file is corrupted. It makes sense if the file is corrupted and it spit that error out showing what its failing on and shows corruption in it.
You could try validating the UE4 editor if that is available in the Epic launcher or try installing another UE4 version (or reinstalling the same one) and trying again. You would probably want to clean off left over files as well.
