Hi, I’m doing the course right now and I’m wondering how I would have to adapt the code to integrate multiple floors, closed buildings and so on, since everything here is built on 2 coordinates. Multiple layers with separate grids or a third dimension in the coordinate system?

Yes the best approach is multiple Grid Systems, one for each Height Level
Then the tricky part is handling connections between them, you would define maybe some Ladders and have those connect from a point in the Bottom Grid System to another point in the Top Grid System

Thank you for the answer. The whole pathfinding topic goes a bit over my head but it keeps the gears moving. I really want to make it happen, but after researching it is clear that it won’t be easy and is not solvable by just buying the right asset. That is where the “fun” begins
