With most of my colours I’ve been having luck shifting my shadows towards blue and my highlights towards yellow. I’m a coder so I like to be mathematical about it although I’m finding that I have to break my own rules in places - some shades need more desaturating to give a better contrast for the highlight and I’ve been hue shifting the yellow less than other colours but I’m still not happy, even with only 5 degrees of hue shift, the shadows are very definitely green and the highlight is orange.
Hi Hazel,
I apologize for the non reply to your question.
This was my error in that i had the tags set wrong on my daily search so i wasnt picking up these questions.
Does this relate to a particular lecture and have you found a solution now?
This was related to the hue shifting lecture and no I didn’t find an answer.
Okay going to tag @ReeceGeofroy on this one to see if he has some input as its more an artsy question than a technical question.
My guess would be you use varying intensities of yellow but leaning towards green but that doesnt sound like what you are going for or meaning.
Let me know if there hasnt been a reply in a couple of days and i will try and chase on other channels.
