I thought I would post in this section even though I’m further up in this lesson area as it relates to player death. I’ve figured out how to stop the alien from attacking when the player dies but I want to stop the AI movement as well but I’m having trouble with this. No matter where I stick the code to check if the player is alive, the alien continues to move towards the player.
So when you have enemies attacking in a wave, when 1 alien kills the player, the other aliens will all converge on the marine player. I want them all to stop where they are when the marine is dead. How can this be done?
