How to select a face within a model?

I am working on the Poly Dino model session. But I am seeing an internal face when I am in object mode. How can I select a face when it is embedded in the model? See screen capture to know what I mean.

Thanks,

David

Use proper wireframe. Faces then have an identifying dot in their centres.
Personally I virtually never use solid +x-ray, wireframe is much better imo, not sure why Grant reverts to x-ray so much. Easy just to flip solid to wireframe and back.

I’m with you on that one @NP5 as I’m not liking the X-Ray view at all. I much prefer to see everything, ESPECIALLY the center dots, which I miss in solid view with the newer versions of Blender.

Now I see some red… did I accidentally delete some faces? (See screen cap.)

Yes you did. No big problem Select the edges of the real side of the missing face and press F. Makes a new face.
