Hi. Im modeling Axe model right now and I’m stucked with one thing. What’s the best way to make edge of my blede sharp without making any weird geometry etc. ?
What do you mean by wierd geometry?
Just zoom in and make things smaller …
For me, your current axe model hasn’t good topology. But maybe you goals is low poly for game development.?
Hi. Yes, I’m focusing on low poly models for my own game. Fixed my topology now so I can Subdivision Surface mod. I found a solution for making the sharp edge of my axe blade. I Used Mirror modifier and then just pulled down the edge of the blade, added few loop cuts to make it more round.
I used a file just this morning to sharpen my hand axe! lol
As you have realised your topology is/was odd. Making it so the sharp edge can have the verts join together side to side would sort it out.
