Kaan mentions in this video he knows the animations for the sprite are intended to be played at 20fps. How do we figure out the “correct” fps an animation should be played at for 2D Spritesheets?
I think he only says this because he either made the assets himself or was in contact with the artist. There isn’t any way to determine intended FPS unless the sprites come with some kind of text document of instructions, or there is time-dependent information within the sprites themselves (such as clock face counting down seconds or something).
I actually played some of the animations faster because I felt they were too slow. Feel free to set the speed to whatever looks right for you =)
