How to add colour to textures

I googled a way to add color to the wave and other colors. You go to ‘Add’ and search for ‘ColourRamp’.
Connect 'Texture’s ‘Colour’ to 'Ramp’s ‘Fac’ and 'Ramp’s ‘Colour’ to 'Principled’s ‘Base Colour’.
