I’m a bit stuck from the start here, as I cannot find if I can access the resources pack without the Epic Launcher, which does not seem available on Linux. I cannot believe the SDK is available on Linux if there is no way to access the market place.
Any clue on this?
Solved, with a combination of Lutris+Wine and this: Accessing Unreal Engine Marketplace on Linux.
Not convenient, but I should be able to continue
While I can’t advocate for any specific one, there are also third-party developed launchers that run on Linux. Please keep in mind that with any unofficial launcher you run the risk of causing harm to your system or compromising your data/account
That article was written by me few years ago, and now I use Epic Asset Manager. And regarding the risk of harming your account, the project is Open Source by Acheta games, he is very active on the Unreal Source discord server. Rest Assured they keep it up to date with the Epic’s API.
