Sorry if this is a total noob question, but how do I fix this line in my game scene? The canvas position seems to be locked, and none of the other options for moving things fix it.
The canvas line is just the gizmo showing the extent of the canvas and you cannot move it. If it gets too annoying you have a few options:

Hide the UI layer.

Hide the canvas from the scene view.

Hide the gizmo.
Be careful 'cos in a month you want to work on the UI and have forgotten that you did that and then wonder why your canvas is nowhere to be found
