Horrifying? Yes

Just posting this as a reminder, even if you’re not happy with what you made, post it anyway. It’s fun to see how others did. :+1:

I tried to improve this a million times, but sculpting is hard and obviously I’ve never done it before. Still was fun to experiment and play around!

Did you use a mouse or had you a tablet?

Yes, it is hard to do. Even if you had a good model, then the texturing drives you crazy.
But as with everything, practise, practise …

Thanks for sharing.

Don’t worry it is not easy and takes a lot of getting used too.
You are right it helps others to see any work, not just the great.

It always surprised me the course changed from proper box modeling a head that actually teaches about topology too, to this current version all in sculpting. Certainly, some take to it, I have not yet, still! Yet I have sculpted real things in real life.

I have a tablet, but I can’t quite figure out the equivalent for
Middle Mouse Button,
Shift + Middle Mouse
with my Wacom pen tablet, so I switch between the two… mostly using mouse.
If anyone reading this can easily explain how to navigate that issue, I’m all ears.
Otherwise, I’m fine mostly using mouse…

Hey, appreciate you’ve probably found the answer yourself by now but for anybody else viewing this you can emulate a three button mouse when using a pen tablet by going to Edit → Preferences → Input → Emulate 3 Button Mouse. Helped me a ton when first getting used to the pen tablet.
