A friend recommended this YouTube video to me, and I loved it. Thought some of you might appreciate it too.
I think he judges some of the flaws a bit too harshly, but maybe I just like the style of those old renderings for nostalgic reasons. Really good video definitely worth a watch. Made me want to go through and watch all the short films he mentions.

… he compares graphic with to days standards and that is wrong. You need to see the developments in CGI: organic, volumetric, IK, shadows, etc… All depending on computing power and possibilities in maths
Yeah. I think it’s kind of natural to do that, since we’re used to today’s standards. It’s like going back and watching any really old film. It will probably seem “not as good” by our standards just because we’re not accustomed do its style. So I don’t blame him too much, but I agree with you.
