Im following making in the above named video. And as I a creating my first hole in the bowling ball I can’t get the edges smooth in the object mode. As you can see in the printscreen. I tried a couple of times following Mikey allong but it just doesnt’t get smooth. Anyone that can help me?
Make sure you do it all in the correct order, it looks like maybe you extruded just a tiny bit before you did all of the rest. But you want to select 6 faces, inset a little, go to edge select, select the face loop you just created, subdivide use 3 or 4, to sphere to 1, go to face select, then extrude inwards. Hope this helps
I missed a step, and I kept getting the same thing you did. The step I missed was insetting the faces right before you extrude.
