Hitting tab doesn't do the same thing it did before upgrading to 3.5

Does anybody know why I can’t select things? hitting tab doesn’t change modes like it used to and when I click on anything, it just moves the cursor.

I’m wondering if a plugin is causing this. Do any of these looking like a suspect?

Okay. so I found that the add-on MACHIN3tools was causing the weird menu. the tab button is working normal again. But i’m still having the problem with the curse moving whenever I left-click

I’ve fixed it. Somehow in my keymap, select with mouse button was set to Right. Which in turn changed the right mouse select option to select and tweak

Switching it back to the left button changed the activate gizmo event to Drag.

I’m guessing an add-on caused this. I’ve never touched the keybinds.

Thanks for answered question! May be useful to others some time.
I use very very few add ons so have not come across such issues.
