At the beginning of this section, Grant imports a previously made model as a starting point using the “Append” option in the “File” menu. Then he quickly navigates through his folder structure until he is at some point where he selects “female” and clicks on the “Append” button.
What he kind of forgets to mention is that in navigating to that point he selects a blend file (actually the last sections finished one) and then navigates into the blend file which Blender’s file picker seamlessly goes into (as if it were just another folde on your disk), and then within the file’s internal object hierarchy opens Object
and selects the female
object to add it into the new file.
So, if you get lost at this point the same as I did, here is why.
