Hight quality Art 2d animation

Hi i am a new user of godot and i’m learning to use it.
I wanted to ask you what is the best technique and best practis to produce animations in an adventure game like those of Amanita. To produce a simple gesture of greeting with one hand to my character I used 22 frames. Are there any limitations using this technique?

Probably not - the more frames you use the more resources Godot will need, but the smoother the gesture will be. It’s down to how detailed and smooth you want every motion to be.

That said, it’s normally a good idea to use as few keyframes as you can and let Godot figure out how to animate between them - it’s less work for you and less for the engine.
