Not that big a deal, but here’s my scene with all but the board hidden. I just selected the pieces, my mockup, the lighting and the camera and hid them via the outliner. As it was really just the board that we were interested in, the inverse selection was indeed a little faster … Good to know, but the practice of using hierarchies also helps a lot (I mean, if all pieces were to be selected separately, then I would say that the inverse was the only “good” solution)
