[HELP] Unity 3D editor's Hierarchy window shows empty

The Unity 3D editor version 4.6.9 shows nothing in Hierarchy window (as shown in the screenshot) when I open existing project. Did any one come across this behavior? It used work but not now. Unity5 seems to work. I have tried install and uninstall few times and no luck.

I am using:
Unit 3d editor version 4.1.6
Mac version : 10.13.2

Hi,

That’s an empty scene, a new scene, it says at the top that it is Untitled etc.

I’m not noticing anything under Assets either, are you certain you saved your project before re-opening?
