[HELP] More control over instantiated prefab's animation

Hi! I’ve finished the Laser Defender tutorial and I’m now trying to put my own touches on it. I have a guy that jumps up from the bottom and yells random things whenever you kill an alien ship but he is instantiated as a prefab with an animation attached that locks him into that position from the animation. I’d like to instantiate him at the x value where the alien ship is destroyed. Any thoughts?
