Help Greatly Appreciated Blender 2.81a is slow

Hello on my old computer blender was starting to run slow when I messed with the properties window sometimes taking 2 minutes to respond to anything I do. I’m on a new computer but the same thing happens even though I have more free computer space. I did transfer my settings for blender from my old computer onto this one so I suspect it may be related. Any thoughts?

There has been reports of transferring settings causing an issue but not heard of a slow down one.
I would remove all traces and do a clean install to be safe and see if thats an issue.
