I began placing a loop cut in the middle of the mouth and worked with it, then I saw Michael’s solution with the knife tool and I ended up doing pretty much like in the lecture.
One might as well have fun along the way:
Happy / sad / troubled
I do know that eyebrows play a major role in reflecting one’s expression, but these eyebrows seem neutral enough to play all three roles.
