Hair has wierd kinks and I’m envious at how good some peoples hair looks, but moving on for now. one day I can study hair and styling in more detail

Practice makes perfect!
There’s a setting where you can basically increase the number of vertices per strand, so you don’t get those sharp corners in the hair. Sorry, I forget what it’s called. “Resolution” maybe?
