I am months (or maybe a few years) late to these courses and apparently hair has changed in recent blender updates, but here’s my result from this. not original exactly, but fun to do.

Yes since the introduction of Geo-nodes, this technique is also applied to hair styling.
The old option is still available, but use the new way of hair nodes.
