I have set up a guard called BP_Guard. The guard is supposed to run at a player when the player is inside the guard’s AI perception. However, the guard first walks, and only when they “catch” the player, then they start to run. The guard’s max walk speed is set to 150, but when they see the player it should move up to 500. Please see the video attached for contexts, as well as the blueprint I am using. If there are more details that you need from me, please lmk!

I have mine set up exactly the same except that the run is called after AI Move To - see below.
The only other thing is it might be related to your behaviour tree. first, try swapping the run call and see if this helps
