Weak, Mystified, Tense, Curious
I want the player to feel weak. Never knowing what monster is lurking around the corner, just that some sort of doom is ever present. Hopefully the gameplay will focus on discovery and learning about the situation at hand because entering combat will most certainly spell death. I think the ultimate goal is to have the player entering the final stage of the game with this mentality, ‘Well someones got to do it, might as well be me’ along with ‘this is as prepared as I’m ever going to get’.
