GridMap notes

  1. Make sure you are on Floor 0. I’m not sure how exactly but all my tiles were floating way high off the ground and it took me a while to figure out why. Floor 0 (not floor 1) is at y=0 and then it goes by the tile size settings for each floor.
  2. If your tile ‘cursor’ is sideways, try pressing ‘a’, ‘s’, or ‘d’ until it looks correct, these rotate the mesh object by 90d in x, y, or z.

Just for anyone else who might have a problem regarding point 1., it’s most likely that you held Ctrl and scrolled with mouse wheel while in the GridMap node, as that is a shortcut to changing the Floor. You can also set the Floor directly at the top, between Transform/View and GridMap
