Interesting, when you create a new post, it reverts back to white;
The lighter background for the element is beneficial though.
This also feels somewhat redundant;
Looks like it needs testing to be consistent.

You have also lost the “About” link on the forum.
Sadly I don’t have a way to do this in a test environment so it will be broken till I can fix it. 
Should be fixed now. If having problems you may need to clear your caches.
Looks much better, the highlighted element works really well.
Glad you like it. The bar is now a share asset hosted on Cloudfront and injected into each page. This should make changes across all our sites much easier.
