To get more grip on using Grease pencil, I followed an online tutorial.
It was more of a click here and do this, than an explanation of what we are doing.
I encountered also a strange behavior with Grease-pencil.
You can draw on layers. You can lock those layers. But even when the layer was unlocked, I couldn’t edit the graphics (verts) inside. Took me some investigation on the web.
Strangely I had also locked the pencil colors used in that layer.
So the fills, and stokes created with this color material could not be edited … a strange thing.
I would say, the vertices can still be edited … but not the color.
But here is my solution. The vase, window, and some green flowers are 3D. All other effects and illustrations Grease-pencil.
At a later moment, I realized I hadn’t followed the tutor’s instructions (forgot some actions). Corrections of my mistakes were difficult for now. But that’s the learning curve.
