Grease pencil unexpected behavior, 3D lines, not flat

I draw some grease notes on the front of the object, which seams good at that moment.
But when I rotate the object (z-ax), the lines do have a depth (back and forth). I’s a nice Art form … but unintended.

I think I need to re-view the lecture.
